This is the first Airbus A380 that QANTAS have received. It arrived at Sydney, Australia on Thursday and is now undergoing pilot training. It’s apparently going to stop at all the large Airports in Australia. This A380 made it’s way to Adelaide, South Australia where it landed, taxied and parked on the taxiway for a few minutes to cool down it’s landing gear and reset flight settings or something before making it’s way to Melbourne Airport where it flew over the MCG for the Grand final footy game. I was in an awesome spot and as you can see, it flew EXTREMELY low. It was MUCH bigger in real life as it does appear on the video. The Airbus A380 is a magnificent and beautiful aircraft. Oh, I apologize for the bad quality of the video, ‘Twas my phone.

@BellaBarossa Hey, I was referring to the one in 2007. First airshow I can recall being at. My dad said he took me to one while I lived in Japan, but I can’t remember that, I was too young, lol. I’m actually taking some time off year 12 to go see the next RAAF airshow at Williamtown in NSW with a few friends. Should be fantastic! Watchin’ some awesome aircraft with the first demonstration of the F/A-18F Super hornet, traveling around Newcastle and Sydney, and a break from school!

@walesdragon, which RAAF airshow are you referring to? What year? I love the RAAF airshow? too. I wish it was held more frequently than every four or five years or so. The last one (2007?) was ruined by bad weather. Looking forward to the next one!

Extremely heavy crosswinds – didn’t show as much on that giant than the smaller, more? vunerable Saab 340s xD

I’ve always loved planes but? never had a true passion for them until I saw the RAAF airshow at Adelaide. The F/A-18′s and F-111′s just blew me away, and lets not forget the C-17. I wish I could become a pilot.

Yeah, the A380 is so much bigger than you’d expect it to? be. You’re lucky that you live in Sydney and get to see the A380 so often! Thanks for watching.
